From the day they married, May 22nd 1872, Dear Nellie was a constant in Edmund Major Wilson’s diary entries. And with long walks on the beach not particularly convenient, Sunday strolls through the vineyard would also become a regular fixture in the pages.
This unoaked Chardonnay is full of life. Refreshing hints of melons and apple on the palate and a clean, zesty finish.
This wine is from our cooler Southern Barossa vineyard on the outskirts of Williamstown, where our family first planted vines in 1860. Wild ferment, bottled without fining or filtration, this single vineyard Rose truly represents our corner of the Southern Barossa. The Wilson Family.
